About the event

Please join the inaugural ALTA Charitable Foundation Benefit Luncheon. Up to twenty percent of children with dyslexia struggle to learn to read. The truth is, we can only help the children who are identified and who receive intensive, diagnostic therapy. But to do this, we need more ALTA certified professionals. With your support, ALTA members can change lives, one child at a time.

All funds raised from this event will support the ALTA Charitable Foundation through the following:

  • Scholarships for individuals pursuing ALTA Certification (CALT/CALP).

  • Scholarships for certified ALTA members pursuing instructor-level certification (CALT-QI/ICALP).

  • Community awareness events

This luncheon is to raise funds for ACF while honoring the great pioneers of the Houston area who have made a tremendous impact with ALTA and making a difference in the lives of children with dyslexia.
